John and Nicole are the founders of Relevant Revolution and Sermon Jams. They began this ministry with the purpose of promoting a reverence and passion for the supremacy of Jesus Christ. The primary elements of this ministry focus on the fundamental truths of the Christian faith and the Word of God. We have many ideas on how these sites can be used to glorify the Lord and believe they have tremendous potential to spread gospel seeds. Sermon Jams is a sermon/hip-hop hybrid designed to create a medium that is biblical, tactful and relevant to our current culture. The heartbeat of this ministry is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost generation. In spreading the Gospel we have made a conscious attempt to play each sermon within the context of the speaker’s message. The impact on the listeners and viewers of the web-site has been no less than phenomenal. We have had over 600 testimonials from people who have been impacted by these tracks and we have an average of 1000 daily hits on our web-site. We had an opportunity to speak to untold numbers of youth and teens and have had the opportunity to see lives transformed. It takes roughly five hours to produce one track and we have produced seven nine track albums to date. Since the initial publication of Sermon Jams, 14,000 CD’s have been produced and freely distributed. Each CD cost roughly $1.00 and we have spent thousands of dollars on shipping cost, web design, purchasing beats and other additional expenses. We have personally financed what is known as “Sermon Jams” and do not charge anything for the CD’s or any of the available downloads. From the very beginning we have embraced the philosophy to freely give and freely receive but refuse to "ring the bucket" or haggle people for the necessary finances. However, the time and energy it takes to run the site, create the mixes, and respond to important e-mails however will be impossible to keep up without some kind of support. We are in the process of making a final attempt to invite people to partner with us and get some steady support, otherwise we move on to what the Lord has next. We trust in his wisdom. |
